In instructional design, design documents and storyboards serve as foundational tools for planning and visualizing learning experiences. A design document outlines the instructional goals, target audience, content structure, assessment methods, and technology requirements, ensuring that all stakeholders have a clear understanding of the project's objectives and approach. Storyboards, on the other hand, offer a visual blueprint of each step in the instructional process, mapping out screens, interactions, and media elements to guide development. Together, these tools help streamline content creation, maintain consistency, and align the instructional design with learning outcomes and user experience.
